This was by far my favorite Halloween. I had no idea how much fun it was to go trick or treating with a toddler. Lauren LOVED going to the different houses and getting candy. At one point we asked if we should go in or stay out and she yelled stay out! See our photo album link for many great pictures of our Halloween.

Lauren's Second Birthday
Our little girl turned 2 on Oct. 26th. I can not believe she is already two years ols. In celebration of this event we had two birthday parties. One on Saturday with her family and one on Sunday with about 15 of her closest little friends. It was a terrific weekend. She is still under the assumption that we get presents everyday. Check out our photo album link to see more pictures.

Duck 2008
Here are a few pictures from our vacation to Duck. We had a great week. The weather was great and the ocean was terrific. Lauren did great. She would play at the beach for about 3 hours each day. Thank you to her big cousins Justin and Tyler for entertaining her! Check out out photo album link for more pictures from our trip.

Ashby Pool
As long as I can remember I have always wanted my children to go to Ashby Pool. Here are pictures from our day at Ashby. It was wonderful seeing Lauren play in the same pools that I did growing up. We hope that we can get back to Harrisonburg soon so that Lauren can grow up swimming at Ashby. Thank you Kerry for letting us come as your guests. We will back again soon.

Update
For anyone that may not know Brian and I are officially back in Richmond. We took our house off the market and are settling back in. Brian got a great job at the Medical Society of Virginia. Today was his first day and he said that it was a good day. The great thing is that his office is only 2 miles away. Lauren and I will hopefully get in to a routine in the coming weeks. It was wonderful having him home with us for so long. Now we will just look forward to 5:00 everyday!

Our little girl is growing up!
Here are some pictures I just had to add. Lauren will smile when asked now...isn't it a beautiful smile! Also check out her favorite sitting post. Her belly in this picture makes me laugh. And also incase you were wondering yes we have entered our crawling phase. I don't think there is a piece of furniture she can't crawl on top of now.

Easter Egg Hunt
Yesterday Lauren participated in her first Easter Egg Hunt at our church. For those of you paying attention to the pictures in our photo album link on the side you will notice all the eggs are green...that is because it was the same egg we kept putting down for her to find...but she didn't seem to mind. All the bigger kids got all the other eggs before we could really get started. It is nice to still pull some things over on her.

We moved!
So a lot has happened since Halloween. Brian got a new job in my hometown (Harrisonburg, VA). We were hoping to move back to this area at some point and then all of a sudden there was a director of marketing job at a company called Power Monitors Inc. in Mt. Crawford. Brian went to two interviews and was chosen over 6 other applicants. But of course we knew he would! =) We moved here right after Thanksgiving. We are currently living in temporary housing provided by Brian's job. What a blessing that has been because we still have not sold our home in Richmond yet. (If you know of anyone looking for a house please let them know about ours!!) We are slowly adjusting to life here in the 'burg' as people call it. Brian likes his job and seems to enjoy the snow and cold weather way more then I do. Lauren is doing great. She is all settled here in her new town. She loves our temporary house with the three floors she climb back and forth on. I enjoy seeing my family more. It's nice to know they are so close by. I've included just a few pictures here but be sure to check out our photo album link on the side with even more pictures from the last few months. We have celebrated Tyler's birthday, three Christmas's and of course snow! I don't think it snowed in Richmond at all last year and here it has snowed twice already. Yikes! Don't worry though we already bought snow boots for all of us!
