Lauren's first concert

Well we don't have any pictures of her debut performance but we do have video. As part of the community bible study program we go to the kids get to do a singing performance. I was thrilled. It was Lauren's first big show. She did great! Well, a lot of jumping on and off the stage but she did great! The best part was Brian was able to come out and see her. He did the cutest thing. He showed up with a bouquet of flowers for her. She loved them. I loved him for thinking of doing that for her!

The Zoo

So apparently Richmond has a zoo...well Amelia to be exact. Anyway, one day we thought we'd give it a try and it was amazing (at least Brian and I thought so). Lauren was more concerned with riding the merry go round. After getting her to see the flamigo's, feeding the giraffe's, watching a penguin show we allowed her to ride...which was the highlight. Oh well! You can not tell a 2 1/2 year old what to like.
